THEATRE ROYAL, MARGATE

Margate is widely known for its sandy beach, however it used to be the entertainment hub of Southeast England comprising of art galleries, theatres and arcades. The Theatre Royal is amongst those theatres but it is rundown and extremely cramped. The project aims to add an artistic extension to the theatre to improve circulation, which will boost its social and economic appeal, ultimately breathing life back into the theatre.
